Capital Campaign
Why Now?
The church is the people, not the building — but Scripture never treats physical space as unimportant. Solomon built the temple; Nehemiah led a capital project to rebuild Jerusalem’s walls so God’s people could worship and gather securely. A building does not make us the church, but it can either help or hinder our ability to make disciples, teach our children, and welcome our neighbors.
This is not about wanting something nicer — it is about removing real barriers to ministry happening right now. The past Breakfasts Between the Services have been so well attended that the Fellowship Hall could not contain us all and ancillary seating had to be placed in the Kids for Jesus room as well as the picnic shelter. The Blast Kids Wednesday nights dinner is overpopulating the Fellowship Hall as well. Sunday Morning second service is close to filling the sanctuary to uncomfortable levels. We simply have been so blessed with growth that we need additional space.
For the last year we have been in prayer, planning, and counseled to arrive at this point. We have watched this need grow, and waiting longer costs us more than moving forward does — whether in lost opportunities to reach our community, rising construction costs, or ministries we cannot start because there is no room
